After our previous post about the benefits of video games on children, today we share with you information on existing tablets in the market, specifically designed for children.
As you know tablets and phones have arrived to homes in a spectacular way, and this has brought a bunch of specific children designed tablets. Affordable tablets with specific features for kids: restricted access to children’s content, specific preinstalled apps and children-proof designs as extra resistant screens.
The features to consider are many: the CPU determines the speed and fluidity of apps, internal storage determines how many apps you can save (even if you can usually expand via SD card ), Ram also influences the speed and loading times, and a good display resolution will let you see more details and sharper pictures.
Other features to look for are how many and which preinstalled apps, stories or games, come with the tablet, but also, how to acquire new ones. Here most models choose to give access to Google Play, (activating parental controls, which all tablets support), and a few other offer their own apps stores aimed at young audiences.
